Step 1: Review Our Website

There is a lot of information out there about psychoeducational assessments. Do your homework. Review our site. And as always, please be reminded that your local public school can do assessments free of cost in almost all instances. The current wait time is 3 to 9 months respectively. However, they cannot diagnose for educational purposes.

Step 2: Decide your next steps

We are happy to work with you and look forward to it should the opportunity arise. Please visit the Assessment tab to see the type of evaluations we do and what is offered.

Step 3: Review and Complete Contract

This information, along with results of earlier evaluations and reports from school, is the beginning of the psychological assessment plan.

*Please note: In most instances, $250 of the total payment is prior the end of your initial meeting to secure your evaluation appointment, unless otherwise stated by your clinician.

Step 4: First Appointment

Your first consultation appointment will be virtual. At this appointment, we will discuss the intake paperwork you provided, and discuss your main concerns regarding your child. If you would like to proceed with testing, you will need to sign a consent form and select an appointment time for your child’s in person evaluation. This consultation appointment will last 30-60 minutes. We have office all over the state of FL we will do our best to get a location closet to you if the meeting needs to be in person.

Step 5: Testing Location

Testing can occur remotely via computer or at an office. Offices are located in various parts of Florida. We will test at the office that is closed to an agreed upon location.

For students who attend Forza Pre-K in Parrish, students can be tested onsite during their school day.

Step 6: Assessment Day

The testing sessions are usually scheduled in one session, typically in the morning, lasting 3 – 4 hours. If several assessments are required, the session will be broken up into two parts, allowing the child to leave for lunch and take a long break.

To Prepare:

  1. Ensure your child gets a good night sleep the night before.

  2. Eat breakfast.

  3. Relax and do the best you can!

Results will be available within two weeks.

Step 7: Final Appointment

Your last appointment will be conducted virtually. At this appointment we will review the psychological report and answer any questions you may have. This meeting will last up to an hour. The remaining balance will be charged after this meeting. An official copy of the report will be securely emailed to you.
