Dyslexia

Having dyslexia can feel like the words on a page have a life of their own. For some, when they try to read, the letters and words seem to move around, shift positions, or blur together. It’s as if the text won’t stay still long enough to make sense of it. Some letters might flip or reverse, and lines of text can appear to jumble up, making it difficult to follow along. This can lead to frustration, as the harder someone with dyslexia tries to focus, the more elusive the words seem to become.

Reading can feel like a puzzle where the pieces keep changing shape, and even familiar words can seem foreign. Beyond the moving letters, dyslexia also impacts how the brain processes written language, making it challenging to decode and understand text efficiently. Despite these difficulties, with the right support, tools, and strategies, individuals with dyslexia often develop unique strengths in problem-solving, creativity, and other areas.
